What are the 5 compare states of matter in the world?
Matter:
- Solid
- Liquid
- Gas
- Plasma
- Bose-Einstein condensate
Solid state:
A particle is said to be solid when the molecules present in the substance are closely packed without any movement of particle in it and it has specific volume and mass.
Example: ice in solid state of water, brick, stone, diamond.
Liquid state:
A particle is said to be liquid when the molecules of fluid are loosely present than solid.
In this the liquid attains the shape of the container in which it is present.
Example: water, ghee, petrol, kerosene
Gas state:
A particle is said to be in gas when the molecules are loosely packed as it they want to go freely without any objection as there are lighter than any state of matter.
Plasma:
Plasma is a state of matter in which an ionized gaseous substance becomes highly electrically conductive to the point that long-range electric and magnetic fields dominate the behavior of the matter. The plasma state can be contrasted with the other states: solid, liquid, and gas.
Bose-Einstein Condensate:
A Bose–Einstein condensate is a state of matter which is typically formed when a gas of bosons at low densities is cooled to temperatures very close to absolute zero.
It occurs at a temperature of -273K and below where you can see the material in small waves releasing energy.
